  • Time to toughen up folks, if someone comes crying to me about how their back hurts or how sickly they are they better keep that to themselves. They will have no sympathy from me.   • True, The obese better watch out, this will effect them greatly. If the rest of the population (many of them healthy) have to pay for others bad decisions, you can bet they will be forced and shamed into healthier weights. Social stigmatism will be profound, they will be pressured by society!

  • This healthcare deal doesn't address the issue of payouts (you say he HAD health insurance, it just didn't cover all the costs) all this does is expand the people covered. Actually the payout issues will become worse unless the government mandates that too.
